I was born in the Great Depression years and grew up in southern New Jersey. My parents both came from Michigan and my Dad was employed by United Fruit when the Depression came. He lost his job and we ended up living on a 15 acre farm in Vineland, NJ, moving there in 1935. The acreage had been located by my Uncle, who was a lawyer, and bought the farm for my father. Dad became a poultry farmer in what was to become the poultry center of the east in post World War II years. The purpose of this blog will be to talk about my life and the experiences I've had and the places I've been. I welcome comments and entries!
